Dwight Mack’s professional career began when he was selected to join the management team of a major retail department store. He spent several successful years in retail management positions before entering the automotive industry.
His achievements in automotive sales and consistent high marks for customer satisfaction earned him the position of Financial Services Manager. Dwight consistently exceeded his goals and later became Sales Manager and General Sales Manager. He was then afforded the opportunity to attend the NADA General Manager’s Academy.
In 1991 Dwight had the opportunity to work for Ryan CSI. This was an in-dealership consulting initiative for Chrysler over a two-year period. He was assigned 22 stores on the west coast. Seventeen of those dealerships experienced significant improvement as measured by their Customer Satisfaction Index. In 1994 Dwight was an in-dealership Consultant and Facilitator for Ford Motor Company. He also consulted with Team Northwest, which was a select group of high performing Ford dealerships.
In 1996 Dwight was offered an opportunity with JD Power and Associates. Here he conducted instructor led courses for the General Motors Value Selling proposition. He was also selected to lead workshops for the General Motors consumer website, as well as the Ford Blue Oval project.
Shortly thereafter he founded his performance development company, Vizion Learning, Inc.
Dwight joined the University of Toyota in September of 1999. He conducted a variety of courses for the University of Toyota and Lexus College. Due to his success and understanding of the industry he was utilized as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for several initiatives as well as a Pilot Facilitator for high profile projects. His initial project with Toyota was a Process Improvement workshop for Dealers and key Managers. He was asked to facilitate the prestigious courses for Toyota Quality Financial Management (TQFM) and Lexus Quality Financial Management (LQFM). He was also part of the team chosen to introduce the Scion Marque, which included national workshops with Dealer Principles and their Management teams. He was then chosen to conduct a leadership workshop in conjunction with New York University. He was selected to partner with the Lexus Survey re-design team in 2005 and Toyota’s Focused delivery in 2008. Dwight was part of the national tour for the new Lease end redesign for Mercedes Benz as well as facilitating Financial Services courses for Mercedes Benz Financial.
